We’re proud to announce that we've joined the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) as an Associate Participating Organization.

The PCI SSC leads a global, cross-industry effort to enhance payment security by establishing flexible, industry-driven data security standards. Through collaboration with other industry leaders, the Council’s mission is to protect payment data from emerging threats and meet the evolving needs of the payment ecosystem.

As an Associate Participating Organization, we’ll contribute to the development of new standards and collaborate with a growing community to improve global payment security. This role also provides us with the opportunity to propose new initiatives for consideration by the PCI SSC and share our experiences and best practices.

The dangers of client-side attacks have not gone unnoticed by the PCI SSC. By March 31, 2025, the monitoring and management of third-party scripts will be mandatory on payment pages as part of the PCI SSC 4.X release.

This is a great first step in making third-party scripts more secure. We’re incredibly proud to now start working directly with the PCI SSC to improve security across the web.
